Motif is dead.

If you have use motif to create your GUI try Lesstif
(http://www.lesstif.org/) instead. It is decently source compatible with
Motif.
If you are starting from scratch you are better off with gtk
(http://www.gtk.org/). Most software (Mozilla, gvim etc.) that used to use
motif for GUI is moving towards gtk.
