hi Dr. saradinu ,
 well what you do here is donot make the partions for linux from windows
fdisk
you can take the following steps:
1. make partions from fdisk in windows (c:  drive for windows and say d:
drive for RHL 6.1)
2. Boot from the Cd to load linux and now deleate the partion from here .
3. Define the swap and native partion size .
This should work .
