Doc, you complained that an extra folder "from" was being created.  From your 
.procmailrc ....

Dr. Sharukh K.R. Pavri proclaimed on LIH that:

>    LOGFILE=$MAILDIR/FROM
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

>    LOGFILE=proc.log

this is your problem - why have you added the line logfile=$maildir/FROM?  It 
assumes that "FROM" is a folder and that's what's causing yr problem. Remove 
it and see what happens.

>    :0 c
>    backup

Once you're sure that the procmail rule works properly, you can safely
delete the :0c backup part.  Thats used to save yr mail when testing a new
procmail rule.
