Hi Ritu,
Stay cool first...
Take the backup of the vital data from ur HDD. Then do some cool
experiment....
Boot ur m/c from RH6.1 CD (though I prefer rh5.2 / debian). In the boot
prompt write text and press enter. Then check the system partition table
using
disk-druid. If u manage to get the rh5.2 CD then use the fdisk to do it.
Please
don't touch the windowz partion and make free the rest of the partion
and 
manually repartition it and load linux.......

u said that u faced lots of problem regarding X-server!! Please specify
the 
chipset of the VGA/AGP card... Hope that we can provide u a good
solution.
