Slackware 7 comes with its own set of utilities for
changing fonts in text mode, and also contains a horde
of fonts. This doesn't use SVGATextMode, but a loads a
font glyph onto the location where the fonts are
stored in linux. Moreover, SVGATextMode doesn't
support all the cards out there (like my Banshee), as
the base happens to be SVGAlib.
