hi!
I have installed red hat 6.1
when i type the command
/sbin/ifup ppp0
( the modem command is ATDT)
then the modem finds a dialtone and tries to dial in tone mode.....
but as my phone line does not support tone dialling i changed the command to
APDT,.. after this the modem does not even detect a dial tone?
With Kppp the modem just does not get a dialtone at all
it just keeps on tryin and trying.....
Please help..
