All that is required to create an Indian Linux Users Group (ILUG) in your
town is enthusiasm and at least a couple of people. If I recall correctly,
the Madras ILUG's first meeting was held in the grounds of IIT. The total
number of attendees was 4 - three people and one lazy lizard which happened
to stumble upon the meeting. ;-)
Get together with other people who are interested in linux and plan to hold
monthly meetings in some place (typically a college, scholl or friendly
place of business). Register your ILUG's contact info with
http://www.linux-india.org/ so that ithers in Tanjore looking for an ILUG
can find you.
