Hello Friends,
I am using RedHat 6.1 on my P-II machine with 128MB RAM. I have a US
ROBOTICS 56Kbps modem which was readily detected. I configured PPP
using the RP3 dialer and connected to vsnl server. I gave the
necessary parameters such as phone no., account name & passwd, DNS
address etc. After some time, the system got connected. The meter
started showing some readings also.
But, when I started my netscape browser, no webpage was displayed. I
get the message server not found. The same settings are working fine
under Win95 & NT.
What are the PPP diagnostics tools available? Is there any
additional settings to be made. Also is there any autodialer kind of
software available for Linux.
