Hi. First of all u're system should allow for booting
from the network. I've seen some AMI BIOSes allow
this, but never in Award BIOSes. U're server has to be
running a BOOTP server, which will give the thin
client an IP, by determining its HW address. The
kernel is transfered to the thin client thru tftp. The
kernel boots up and the root is loaded via NFS. Its
better documented in NFS-HOWTO and NFS-ROOT howtos...
I think PCQ had an article on it sometime back, but i
haven't been getting my PCQ past 6 monthz, so i
couldn't read it. damn them! :=\
