AFAIK, the stable version of Samba does not have PDC support. It only
does domain logons. If you want trust relationships, u will have to
use the developmental version of Samba.

AFAIK, the stable version of Samba cannot act as a logon server for NT
machines as the NT logon procedure is not documented. The Samba
developers have got a preliminary PDC support working by reverse
engineering the way NT does logons.

Correct me if i am wrong!

Check out Samba's home page for something called Samba TNG, i think
that is the alpha version of Samba with PDC support.

In smb.conf [globals] add: "encrypt passwords = yes"
