Hi everybody,
I tried to load corel linux from CHIP CD of Mrch
2k. Earlier it had RH Linux 6.1.
I tried to load corel linux after removing RH. It started alright like "
Starting Corel linux" " Loading
corel Linux" " Auto Detecting Hardware" and after it said " Starting
graphical install" the screen went
black and afterwards I could not do anything.
I have Trident 3D Image 975 AGP card with 4MB VRAM. Mine is Intel
Celeron 266 Mhz system
with 64 MB RAM With 3 GB Linux partition and Win98 resides in the other
Partition.
When I tried the same in another machine with Intel Pentium 233 Mhz with
16MB RAM and having
Cirrus logic Graphics card with IMB VRAM the graphical install went on
smoothly.
Can you tell me how to work around this problem? I do not want to
replace my graphics card now.
