[LIH] netscape does not connect to the internet

hi!
even after i'am connected to the net... my netscape does not seenm to locate
any servers . that is , it says that i'am still not connected( some d.n.s
problem)
Please help
p.s i can't ping anyone ( eg. www.microsoft.com)
