Hi Soum,

   Hope Shantanu has 2 OS in the same disk.That's why he tends to
uninstall instead of formatting.

    Here no add/remove prgs in ctrl panel as in Windows.
 
    if we want to uninstall any package then 
    rpm -e will be fruitful.

    But as Shan wants to uninstall the OS itself, deleting the 
swap and /- mounted partitions will be efficient.

    For this boot from the same RHL6.1 CD and delete the corresponding 
partitions.
    
    Be careful with other partitions.

    Hope this will solve the prob.
