Why would you want to run this file? Nothing under the /etc directory is
runnable. The /etc directory is where configuration information about the
software installed on your machine is stored. The binaries that are
runnable are stored under /usr/bin or /usr/X11R6/bin or /usr/local/bin.
System level binaries are usually stored under /usr/sbin or /usr/local/sbin
I recommend that you read a good primer to Unix to understand the directory
structure better. AND STOP PLAYING IN YOUR SYSTEM AS ROOT BEFORE YOU DO
YOURSELF AND YOUR SYSTEM GREAT HARM.
