[LIH] (LIH) Urgent help to configure Modem

I have changed my external Dlink modem to Internal Dlink modem.
Under Windows98 it is configured on IRQ10 & port : 3E8 (COM3)

How do I configure for Linux?  

I have tried all options from /dev/ttyS0, S1, S2 & S3
It says modem is busy or no respnse from Modem

Pls. help urgently.
