Hi,
Check if you have module ppa.o in your modules dir i.e /lib/modules/.
If its there then fine .. else you will have to recompile the kernel with
selecting iomega zip drive module in the make menuconfig or whatever.
If the module is present then
do
$ modprobe ppa
u can check if the module is loaded by lsmod
when u do a modprobe with the zipdisk inserted in ur zipdrive it will tell u
which device it is
for eg the last line of modprobe is something like this
sda : sda4
make a zip directory in ur mnt dir
$ mount /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip
and ur zip disk is mounted .
Since modules have to be loaded everytime the computer boots up ull have to
do modprobe everytime ur mounting the zip drive.U can write a init script
for this.The docs says that all the modules placed in /lib/modules/boot are
loaded during the boot time... i am not sure of this thing.
