Hi,
I am having RH 6.1 system (pcq) kernel 2.2.12-20. I am trying to
configure a Avermedia vdomate tv tuner card on it. The problem is i dont
get any sound.
I have gone thru the faq with the xawtv and bttv.
/var/log/message shows that the card is identified bt848 - (new h'ge).
but the next line shows " NO fader chip: tea6400"
?? this i think corresponds to the sound processing chip on the board.
I have loaded the msp3400.o module. it dosent work
modules like tea6400 and tda8425 are not present on the system.
I downloaded the latest bttv, i2c, and tried compiling. after
installation the modules give "unresolved symbols" error.
I tried compiling the kernel with all video4linux options as modules.
still erors occur on compiling.
please help
