hi folks ! I am new here. I've been fooling around with linux for the past
one year and my favourite pass-time is trying out new distros. I've finally
started using RedHat 6.1 (pcq).
have a problem making Linux mount my win98 (fat32) partitions. i tried
editing /etc/fstab with the following values :
/dev/hda1 /mnt/win1 fat32 defaults 0 0
Now I know the setting works fine when i mount a fat16 partition by
substituting "vfat" instead of "fat32" but when i try the settings for
fat32, at booting-up, the following error occurs:
mount: fat32 not recognised by kernel
Please help.
Thanks,
Bhavin Sheth
