Tell you what, it is even crazier than I had seen yesterday...if I
remove kdm and do a find, kdm is nowhere...when I reboot, kdm is back
to where it was. If there is some catch, I dunno. Maybe the last
fallback will be to remove the app manually, but if I do, what
happens to the symlinks??
