Hi,

At one of my friends place, he has got a dual boot machine with Windows98 and Red Hat
Linux.
Now he wants to dispose off the 6.4GB HDD. He removed the Linux partition using Red
Hat bootable CD(Disk Druid) and saved the Partition table entry.

Now if he uses fdisk in dos to remove the extended partition he gets message logical
drives
present and if he tries to delete logical drives it says no logical drives exist. If
he uses
delete non-dos partition option he gets message that no non-dos partition exist.

How to permanantly delete the linux partition in this case so that entire 6.4GB space
is available.

Thanks in advance.
