I have loaded XFree 4.0 on an i810 board and it is working perfectly .
I am able to get max bpp of 24 and resolution of upto 1024x768.
XFree4 has got better support for the i810 card than the earlier XFCom
or XFree86 3.3.6 or lesser. Gart support has to be built in to the
kernel or as a module.
Look out ..your board has to be an i810 and not i810e coz there is no
support yet for the i810e chipset as that found on an ASUS MoBo CUWE.
There seems to be a problem with the PCI to AGP steering device/Hub. It
seems Intel has not yet released specs for this chipset. Puzzled !!
