Ever since I upgraded to RedHat 6.1, the KDE Ark (KDE archiver program)
is functioning properly. When I click on a TAR-GZ (tgz) or Gzipped file
(I use KDE), the Ark shows me a list of files it contains with some
number attached with the file names. As a result, I can not retrive the
files using Ark, as it complains of not finding the files! I have to go
back to the shell and issue the tar command. Also while creating new
archive using the Ark, I can not delete the files on the Ark window by
right clicking and choosing delete (as the KDE manual says). All were
normal when I was on RedHat 5.x. Could anybody have a clue? Thanks in
advance,

Madhurjya
