Check out for these attributes in the monitor.
1. Supported resolution. [Take 1024x768 or higher]
2. Refresh rates at the available resolution. [Highest resolution should
be supported at at least 75 HZ vert refresh rate]
3. Smoothness of mode-switching. [Should not make sound clicks etc and
compare
the mode switching times]
4. Check out the edges for clarity, especially in flat monitors.
