Hi Netizens,
I am a linux novice unable to install kpackage. I tried doing this -
rpm -i --force kpackage-1.3.8-5.i386.rpm
It gives this error...
error: failed dependencies-
            libbz2.so.0 is needed by kpackage-1.3.8-5

I found the file in Nov 99 PCQ CD and then copied it into all kinds of
directories I could find. I mean all lib directories.
Still the same error .
I had installed gnome on my system and then upgraded it and installed
Kde. Now
I have both on my system. gnorpm and kpackage both don't work. Why?
How can I correct it without reinstalling the whole Os and losing my
data.
Thanks a lot.
