check out www.talula.demon.co.uk/allegro i'm not too sure about the www part. I exist _only_ on CVS ;-) Allegro is a 2D/3D cross plat. lib, with 3D being substantially more than 2D. It's mainly a game prog lib. It does have some kewl features for the beginner, but lack of Z-Buffer had been a problem since long. Now u can use the P3D lib along with it for Z-buffering, but i guess the latest CVS has it included too. But this lib can _only_ serve as a stepping stone. u better migrate to OpenGL ASAP, as this is the industry std. API, which truly rox! Nikhil. PS: IMHO, DX sux, cuz so does COM.
