cd /etc/
vi wvdial.conf  (or use any other editor)
CHANGE THE FOLLOWING STRAIG
init1 = ATZ  to Init1 = ATI  (for PowerTel Boca 128E )
or
init1 = ATB40    (for Zyxel omninet)
