Hi, I am trying to connect two modems together (effectively trying to get twice the bandwidth :) However, once the first modem connects (pppd gives me ppp0 as the device) the second one refuses to. I get the following error(s) in my /var/log/messages file: ------ The remote system is required to authenticate itself but I couldn't find any suitable secret (password ) for it to do so OR The remote system is required to authenticate itself but I couldn't find any suitable secret (password ) which would let it use an IP number ------ Note that one modem is connected and i can use it to browse perfectly fine...like sending this message to the list :) HELP!
