i havent been able initialise my modem in linux RH 6.0 using the ppp-on and
ppp-on-dial script and the pppd
my modem is a gvc 33.6 Kbps modem
i have tried the following initialisation strings
ATDT
at&fx3
AT&FXn n=0,1,2,3
even the default setting string for the modem AT&F doesen't yeild any
results.
Although at&fx3 runs smoothly in kppp (and i have dialed thru this modem in
linux , it aint a winmodem that is ) but it wont make my modem budge using
the scripts .
Does any one have a clue
