man vacation for vacation autoresponders.
And here's a procmail recipe I use as an autoresponder ... add it to your
.procmailrc
# The autoresponders directory is where the files
# to be sent in reply reside
FILEDIR=$HOME/autoresponders
:0 ic
* ^[EMAIL PROTECTED]
*!^FROM_DAEMON
*!^X-Loop: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
|(formail -r -A "Precedence: junk" \
-I"From: KCircle Auto Responder <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>" \
-I"Subject: Your mail to K-Circle" \
-A "X-Loop: [EMAIL PROTECTED]"; \
cat $FILEDIR/info.txt )|$SENDMAIL -t
You may have to apply a .forward file for this --
"|IFS=' ' && exec /usr/local/bin/procmail -f- || exit 75 #your-login"
Hope this helps

LIH is all for free speech. But it was created for a purpose - to help
people discuss issues about installing and running Linux. If your
messages are counterproductive to this purpose, your privileges to
submit messages can and will be revoked.
