Thats what you want - do a "zless
/usr/share/doc/lilo/Manual.txt.gz" at a prompt, if you are running a
debian machine... and if you aren't ... the appropriate place should
be somewhere in /usr/doc/lilo or blah blah ... search around, and you
should find it.
The Manual.txt.gz has it all, including how to
passwd,restrict,blah blah ...
ravi@rockford:/usr/share/doc/lilo$ locate doc | grep lilo
/usr/doc/lilo
/usr/share/doc/lilo
That is another way to finding out where your lilo docs are
lying around.
