Too much power is invested in root. You can seriously damage your system like
this!. To see an example, do this: #cd /;rm-rf . Back up your data first,
though. If your system gets cracked, you can lose information. working as root
= working on a windows 9x machine, without the recycle bin facility. Dleltion
is permanent here. And the *nix security model says that only that much power
should be given as necessary. root is always overkill. Look up my previous mail
on this. And read some unix security books!.
