Hi Cyrus
I am not too sure of the technicalities. But I am telling you something from my
experience. I have a ADSL connection to here (Singapore) but I havent been able to get
it working with Mandrake 7.0 or RH 6.2. The reason is not lack of support in the OS
but on contrary its lack of support from the ISP side. The ISP here provides
connection specific software for Windows and MAC users.. however for Linux or OS/2 ..
they havent developed such connection specific software.. I have been struggling for a
couple of months too.
If anyone has a solution to this problem or can give me a better insight I would be
rather grateful.
regards
Raj
