Another thing, my 0,02. NEVER go by the PMPO. This does not follow the
rule
between RMS power per channel [actually related to volume output] being
half of the PMPO [A/C rules]. For usual two-in-one amps, RMS power [that
you
hear] is usually 1/20th of rated [read advertised] PMPO. For mini
component
systems it is close to 1/17th and for maxi/midis [stereo channels 2
only, no 
surround]. The mercury speakers at 300 W PMPO are actually

300 / 2 per channel = 150
150/20 ~ 7.5 watts per channel, as a rule of thumb.
