Oh hell .... try this.
Stop sendmail before you change _any_ settings
Remove Cyrus SASL from your computer (use gnorpm or whatever to erase the
rpm)
Install the sendmail-cf rpm from ftp.redhat.com
Make relevant changes (only DS bom3.vsnl.net.in - don't use DM
bom3.vsnl.net.in) in sendmail.cf - don't meddle with the .mc file.
Restart sendmail
