we are� making� a web-enabled application� and want to host it on linux.
thing is i have practically *zook*� experience afa dbms on linux is
concerned. so naturally i have many questions. biggest� problem is what
database to install on the server side.� due to our limitations� we
can't go for oracle etc. and in any case the application is < mid-size.
somebody suggested mysql but i would like to know more as i have no
prior experience using dbms on linux. second problem is : we are
planning to use java servelets , so the datbase i use should have a Jdbc
driver or *Jdbs* - * Odbc* bridge in case *Odbc* drivers are available
for that database.� would appreciate your help in this regard
