Hello Everybody,
First of all let me confess that i am a novice in
the field of networking. I am trying to setup a local
intranet mail server on our RH 6.1 machine via
sendmail. I was going through the docs in which many
references have been made to domain name [eg .com]
Our Linux server is named Linux in the domain bang.
We have mainly Win95 systems on our network. What i
want is users to send mail to each other identified by
[EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] or else
user1@bang, user2@bang
I have configured SAMBA so that my linux system will
provide domain logon validation. I have also set the
WINS resolution option.
It has been mentioned that setting up a intranet mail
server is pretty easy. But, i find the terms
confusing. I will go through them again.
In the meantime, if any body can clarify then it would
surely be a great help.
