I have not used GLADE(rather did not give enough time to it.) But I feel
GUI created with Kdevelop is far better than VB because of better design.
And easier compared to VC++(I gave it last try in 1997 and gave it up..)

 When you develop a GUI in Kdevelop, you know it's a class, you know how
to add power to it and how and which interface to expose and things like
that. It has better reuse of component due to OO back end language(For me,
C++ in OO).

Basic lacks seriously here. In commercial development, I haven't seen a
form getting reused or atleast called. Forget reuse of code. One should
rather call VB as an procedural programming environment, that allows built
in and limited event handling.

I know this has nothing to do with the original question, which was far
too simple. Further these are my personal opinions and I would love to
correct them if proven incorrect/wrong..

 Bye
