OTOH...;-) I have no objection to getting mail informing me of stuff I may be interested in, as long as it is not Unsolicited Bulk/Commercial Email. I *was* slightly zapped at being registered for some seminar and being asked to sign an NDA when this was the first I was hearing of the whole thing. If these guys are on the level - which still needs to be shown - then a word of explanation in the beginning would have saved them a lot of hassle.
