Hi Savitha,

Looks like you over wrote the MBR (Master Boot Record)
when you installed Linux -- that's why NT dies showing
the infamous Blue Screen of Death. Well, Yours Truly
had done the same when he installed RHL 6.1 the first
time around.

Please read the "NT OS Loader + Linux mini-HOWTO"
available from various sources including Redhat.com
(Pl. check the PCQ CD if it is avlbl there). You
should install NT first and let it hog the MBR for
itself. Then, install Linux and select the option to
boot it from the Root Partition. Initially, you need
to boot Linux using the boot floppy you create during
the installation. (Set your BIOS option to check the
FDD first). Later, as described in the above
mini-HOWTO, you can use NTOSLOADER to boot either to
NT or to Linux -- it is quite straight forward.

You can also use any of the third-party boot managers
like "Boot Magic" to choose your OS.

Good luck!

Regds,
AK.
