All U've to do is use <esc> <number from numpad> instead of the
function keys if U want to use mc from a telnet session. If u'r terminal
does get screwed up try a diff term emulation like TERM=linux etc.

emulation I find that function keys like F1-F10 don't work. I presume
that's because the vt100 didn't have 'em. Unfortunately, programs I
rely on, like "mc", depend on 'em. Bit of a problem.
Should I pick a different emulation type? Or is there some other way of
getting a remote prompt? Any suggestions welcome.
