The best place to look up such stuff, imho, would be first of
all, the product specifications' page on the manufacturer's site
itself... so my first choice would be cisco's webpage. And then lookup
google.com ... and google.com/linux ... try using some
inktomi-algorithm based search also, if you like, IIRC rediffsearch
uses it .. but I've not yet felt the need to move out of using google
.. and so I don't know about how well inktomi works.. but people who
used it say, its okay.

IMHO, a guy that knows the answer to this, would be
forced to write a semi-HOWTO, for which no one has the time. You would
get a better reply, if you posted a more specific question, like :
"Does Cisco Router ASS2343 support protocol foo"
... and some guy that knows the answer, would just say, y/n ..
