Check for the usual goofups, ie.
1. the resolv.conf file in /etc
2. if the vsnl server is doing a loopback check on ur dynamic ip,
then add "noauth" in the ppp script
3. Set the approipriate modem dialling string. You'll either find it
from one of the online sites like "modemhelp" or by checking the logs
when u connect usning Windows95/98/2K
Read the docs on ur m/c as well as the FAQs at pcquest and ILUG-Hyd's
site...Then again, there were a couple of "comprehensive" postings on
kppp configuration in the last few days, so search the LIH database
