Both these options+sw_cursor+hw_clocks(everything from XF86Config from
Rajesh Fowkar. Thanks fellow for making it so simple...It worked in first
shot.) and any combination of these does not make problem go away.
In fact 8bpp 800x600, the screen was crippled to middle, which I had to
adjust heavily to occupy the whole screen. earlier cirrus logic took hold
of entire real estate without leaving a dot uncovered.. My monitor is
Philips 105E. Putting line frequencies in the file is bad idea, not a mode
will show up. Any idea how to obtain clocks from monitor manual?
Upgrade to XFree86 4.0 will solve it? Rather I would change my card. My
internet account is near to over(Hoohooo .. No more eth.. Feels great..)
and so is the month.
Bye
Shridhar
