Hi kiran,

I here in my company have configured couple of
machines having SiS cards.

uncomment the line above Screen section reading
"videoram"

Above this entry add this line:
ChipSet  "SIS86C205".

In the Screens section the depth should be
Depth      8

Set the resolution to "800x600" "1024x800".

But before that copy the patch available in the Nov99
cd of PC-Quest:
xsuse* & x*.tgz to the / directory
and then run xf86config at the prompt and configure
your Xserver with appropriate information.
