Is the Zip drive connected to the machine in the US? Or is the Zip drive
connected to your desktop in India?
If it is the former: Read http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/mini/ZIP-Drive.html
which has info on how you can use the zip drive from a Linux box.
If it is the latter then you need to figure out some mechanism to copy over
the files from the remove machine in the US to your machine's zip drive. I
suggest looking at rsync.
