[LIH] CRON

Hi,
I want to set time to "connect" automatically, and "disconnect"
automatically. How do it.
I tried using vi /var/spool/cron/root 
   00 10 * * * /usr/bin/isdn
but it is not connecting automatically.

Please help me on the ASAP.
