Hey, why do you want to make people go about reinstalling their linux for
the sake of fixing X on a sis card?  And wtf did you learn that linux has
to be reinstalled for fixing this?

Get the SuSe xfree86 rpm (in PCQ a couple of months ago) and use that.  Or
try adding the no_bitblt, no_imageblt etc flags in the devices section of
your xfree86 config file.  See the PCQ article or
http://www.exocore.com/linux for this.

The next piece of advice if reinstalling linux doesn't work will perhaps
be "throw your comp out and get another comp" I expect? ;)
