xf4.0 binary is at
ftp://ftp.linuxfr.org/pub/XFree/4.0/binaries/Linux/. Essentially three
"packages" (tgz//rpm//deb) in different formats of the exact same thing.
Mirror at http://center.oftheinter.net/~xk/xf4/, or ftp://ftp.grulic.org.
ar/pub/XF4.0 "install at own risk"
