Why only Linux, Rohit? They don't seem fit to teach you anything
about computers. 'c++ executablefilename' doesn't run the
executable even in dos or windows or any of the several OSs I
don't know the names of.
I bet that within a period of two years they charge you more than
the cost of an assembled PC of decent configuration. Don't you
think having a PC of your own will teach you more than they do -
regardless of whether you use Linux or not?
I have never been inside a computer institute but I feel they
must be more like business centres rather than places of
education. Is anybody ever denied admission because of lack of
proper background? Is anybody ever denied a certificate upon
completion of course because he is not upto the expected
standards? Other than DOEs 'O' Level and 'A' Level etc. I don't
think any certificate is worthy of being respected.
If there is a dearth of Linux teachers, I can offer to teach
Linux basics and PERL part time (evenings) in Lucknow. I don't
have a certificate in computing but I don't do "c++ executable"
either ;-) .
