I have problem starting the X because , its not able to connect to the
font server.
The following are the error messages

_FontTransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect: errno = 111
failed to set default font path 'unix/:-1'
Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'
----------------------------------------------------------
When i try to start the xserver
$ /etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs start
---------------> [OK]
$ /etc/rc.d/init.d/xfs status
xfs dead but subsys locked
and i also tried to set the font path to
/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/..
But still the errors have persisted.
and why should this happens often,
